Stripes by Scotty ("OUT TO LUNCH" UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

My name is Scotty George. I am from Salt Lake City and have been pinstriping since 2010 minus a 2 year break while serving a religious service mission in Madagascar. I am a graduate from the Collision Repair and Street Rod programs from UVU and am currently working full time as a paint technician at US Street Rods & Collision in Spanish Fork, UT. Pinstriping is a hobby for me, not a full time gig and with recent life events and the pandemic I am NOT currently taking on any new projects. I will reassess this situation Summer 2021, until then I will refer any jobs that are presented to me to one of my friends or other local pinstripe artists, thank you for understanding.

I am posting both pinstriping and updates on my truck build here on this blog to help keep everything in one place. If you are looking into having some pinstriping done, I am open to answer any questions you have and would like to hear about your project. I am NOT a full time pinstriper though so my availability is constantly changing and based on what other projects I have committed to.

Out here in the field...

Just a small update here from whats been up, designs with ideas of a 1961 Cadillac Sedan Deville (Parkers), another with my 1968 Ford F100 in it, just some other color mixtures and a design I am hoping to put together for myself and my fellow missionaries here in Madagascar... For those of you that are curious this is something I've been doing on Pday as not to detract from my main work and purpose here! Thanks to everyone who is supporting me out here, love you and take care!

A little bit of everything, wrappin things up... :(

As many of you know, I'll be leaving on February 2nd 2011 for my LDS mission for 2 years in Antananarivo Madagascar... the almost exact opposite side of the world... and during that time I kind of have to put this hobby/talent on hold ... so I've been doing everything possible as of late, getting my fill before its all gone... so here are some recent things along with some batmobile updates... other projects include a tip jar for the frontwoman of my previous band, (her new project is linked at the bottom of this site 'Storyvilletime'), my neighbor's 85 Harley RoadKing, Jake's truck 'Kermit' and who knows what else... probably one more update before I bounce, thank you all, keep spreading my work, I'm jumping back into this upon return home, no battle.

Batmobile Updates!

Got the panel all installed, still waiting to light it up, but the speakers are in, the stripes are all on it, I'm so jealous of it!

The Bat Signal, Holy Speaker Panel Batman!

So as mentioned previously I've been doing a bit of work on my friend's Batmobile... so here's some recent updates and other recent projects on the side........... like i told you. the bat lights up, the bat signal, thats got to be the coolest thing i've ever done, dad helped me with it, cause he loves sign type stuff... I finally figure ya know, we don't completely connect on hot rods, I can at least bridge the gap by bringing his industry/expertise to customize mine :) I'm going to pinstripe it, he cut the materials and built the LED box, I dreamed it up, finally a father/son project of equal input.

yes I know this one is not standing the right way!
